How do I get to Loco Land?

Loco Land will take place at Dun Laoghaire Harbour.

Public Transport
The Loco Land team and An Garda Síochána wish to encourage patrons to use public transport to access the event. This will be the easiest and quickest way to travel to and from the Loco Land Festival. The event location is easily accessible by DART and Dublin Bus services.

Route 75, 75a The Square, Tallaght to Dun Laoghaire.
Route 63, 63a Kilternan to Dun Laoghaire.
Route 45a, 45b Kilmacanogue, via Bray, to Dun Laoghaire.
Route 111, Dalkey to Brides Glen (LUAS stop) via Dun Laoghaire.
Route 59 Killiney Hill to Dun Laoghaire.

Dublin Bus
From City Centre, 7 and 46A operates to Dún Laoghaire From Loughlinstown, 111 operates to Dún Laoghaire From Killiney Druids Pub, Route 59 to Dún Laoghaire

DART
DART services run every 20 minutes during event times Irish Rail advise purchasing return tickets to avoid queues in Dún Laoghaire DART Station on return
Travel time on the DART from city centre stations (Connolly/Tara Street/Pearse Street) is approximately 20-25 minutes

Car + Parking
Dún Laoghaire Harbour on street parking is available, normal parking availability and restrictions apply.
Car parking facilities will be available at:
Park Rite Car Park, Pavilion Theatre, Queens Road (321 spaces)
Q Park, Bloomfield’s Shopping Centre, Lower George’s Street (550 spaces)
IMC Cinema’s Car Park, Library Road (off Lower George’s Street) DLR Lexicon Car Park (100 spaces)

Bicycle + Parking
There will be a designated area inside the venue to store bicycles if you are intending to come to the event by bike. Please look out for signage.

Road Closures - Vehicular Traffic
Temporary signage will be placed in Dun Laoghaire to advise motorists about the 200m section of road closure on Harbour Rd between 12 noon and 11.30pm.

 
 
Who will be performing when?
 
 
I bought a ticket, but I can’t go anymore. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, our tickets are strictly non-refundable. If you would like to sell your ticket on, we recommend Ticketswap as the safest place to do so.

Is there an age restriction?

Loco Land is strictly over 18s.

Can I bring in my own alcohol and snacks?

Outside food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will not be allowed onto the Loco Land Festival grounds. There will be plenty of stalls on site where you can purchase food and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

What drinks will be served?

Loco Land is brought to you in association with Jagermeister, so there will be a special Jagermeister bar serving your favourite liquor. There will also be a range of beer, cider, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks available.

Can I bring camping chairs / blankets?

Camping chairs and blankets will not be allowed on the festival grounds. There will be areas on site where you will be able to sit down and relax.

Will there be any extra charges after entering the site?

Some fair rides might incur a small supplement charge, but all other entertainment is free. Food and drink will have to be paid for separately.

What about Bingo Loco?

We expect a large demand to join one of the multiple Bingo Loco sessions happening at Loco Land. These sessions will be served on a first come, first served basis so simply head along a little earlier and join the queue in advance. There will be no extra charge for participating.

Is there a bag restriction?

You can bring in any bag up to the size of A4. All bags will be subject to search.

Are there ATMs on site?

There will be no cash points on the festival grounds. Vendors will be able to accept card but if you prefer paying with cash, make sure to bring some with you.

Do the vendors take card?

Yes, all bars and food vendors will take card.
